They are actually trying to add both to round out a completely revamped frontline.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Bianconeri recently met with Parma and began discussing the formula. The suitors suggested a loan with a conditional obligation to buy. They are trying to at least block the player from going elsewhere while they work on some departures.

After intensely probing Pellegrino, Juventus will raise their proposal for Kolo Muani. Their base offer will stay at €35M, but they will improve the bonus part of the package and the resale clause. PSG demand €50M, though. The striker has agreed to slash his wages to return, concurring to a €5.5M clip.

In the meantime, the Bianconeri have gathered intel on some fallbacks, like Folarin Balogun and Mikel Oyarzabal. The latter is very attached to Real Sociedad and has a €75M release clause. Alexander Sorloth remains on their radar.

According to TuttoSport, the Old Lady is shopping Jonathan David and Lois Openda in France, where they had success in the past. The former has been offered to Paris FC, while the latter to Olympique Lyonnais and Lens. Their salaries are steep, though.

Our Take on Juventus, Kolo Muani, and Pellegrino

The pairing would work very well technically, but considering that they are pinching pennies and moving slowly, it’ll be difficult to land both and also offloading their outcasts decently. The first forward they get in the door could easily be the only one, even if that’s not the plan. Plus, rarely do excessively long sagas have a positive resolution.

Follow us on Google News for more updates on Serie A and Italian football

Source link

Juventus have stepped up their pursuit of Mateo Pellegrino, but that doesn’t mean they have moved on from Randal Kolo Muani.
