As speculation continues to grow that Marcos Senesi\u2019s future will be in the same league in which he currently calls home, it doesn\u2019t look like that is a deterrent for Juventus to keep the pressure on just in case the main club he has been linked to in recent weeks<\/a> continues to be in a bit of a pickle.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

So as we wait to see if said club will be relegated or survive another season in the Premier League, Juventus are looking to potentially line things in case Door No. 2 actually happens and Tottenham become one of the most notable clubs to get relegated down to the Championship.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

That is because, according to TuttoJuve\u2019s Mirko Di Natale on Wednesday, Juventus are set to make another contract offer to Bournemouth center back and soon-to-be free agent Marcos Senesi. While Tottenham have reportedly agreed to a deal with the 28-year-old Argentine, it is VERY much contingent on Spurs avoiding relegation in a few weeks \u2014 which is something, if you\u2019ve paid any sort of attention to the Premier League standings of late, is looking more and more of a possibility with just four games remaining in the 2025-26 campaign.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

So if Spurs do get relegated and Senesi doesn\u2019t head to that side of North London, then the door could very well be blown wide open for him to either find another destination in England or truly consider another league. Like, you know, Serie A perhaps.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As Di Natale notes, \u201cThe parties are in contact\u201d \u2014 which tells you Juventus still think they have a shot at signing Senesi this summer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Senesi, as we know, is one of the handful of free agents Juventus are being linked to at the moment as we speed toward the summer transfer window in a World Cup year. Just how much that will impact the price of some potential targets will be something that has gone through the thought process of Juventus\u2019 front office. And even though Senesi is likely to be at the World Cup as well, he could. very well be somebody who has decided on his next club by the time he and his Argentinian depart for North America in early June.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As the previous reporting last week suggested, nothing has been signed between Senesi and Tottenham. That obviously has a big reason for it \u2014 and the potential relegation is said reason \u2014 and that leaves the door open a little bit for other clubs to try and position themselves as these final four games of the Premier League season play out. Spurs are currently in 18th place and two points away from potential safety.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
