Sunday night\u2019s meeting between Juventus and AC Milan saw two teams in different kind of form line up against one another in the biggest remaining fixture of the 2025-26 season for both squads. What played out was the kind of old-school, tactical kind of battle that probably wasn\u2019t a surprise knowing who now manages those two squads.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
There was plenty of intrigue. There also wasn\u2019t any goals scored.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
For the second time this season, Juventus and Milan played to a scoreless draw. The first time was during the final days of Igor Tudor\u2019s short tenure as manager in Turin. This time around, it was Luciano Spalletti getting a point with a scoreless draw against Max Allegri at San Siro. In the race for the top four, it wasn\u2019t the best result that Juventus could have collected, but it helped the Bianconeri keep some breathing distance in between themselves and Como and Roma. With four games to go, that\u2019s all that needs to keep happening.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
And now with an easier schedule (at least on paper) the rest of the way, Juventus have worked their way through a difficult fixture in Milan with disaster being averted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
A solid result for a fixture \u2014 and opponent \u2014 that was never going to be straightforward no matter what form they might be in at this moment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
