Juventus look set to be a potential player on the (not-so) free-agent market this coming summer, with a good host of names already being linked to the club despite the fact there\u2019s still two-plus months to go in the 2025-26 Serie A season. It looks like Juventus are getting awfully serious about their attempt to sign a certain soon-to-be free agent who plays in the center of defense for one of the Premier League\u2019s biggest success stories yet again this season.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport on Wednesday<\/a>, Juventus have made \u201ca written offer\u201d for Bournemouth defender Marcos Senesi, somebody the Bianconeri has been linked with for months now. What that offer is was not actually mentioned, but with plenty of other interest from clubs around Europe, Juventus are expected to have submitted quite the competitive offer for a player in Senesi who is reportedly keen on seeing what the club has to offer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n There appears to be no timetable as to when Senesi might make a decision on his next club. It might be before the Premier League season ends in May, it might come after. It could be before Senesi is likely heading to the United States for the World Cup this summer with Argentina.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n To see Juventus take the next step and actually send forward an offer to Senesi shouldn\u2019t come as a surprise. They\u2019ve been linked with him for months now, and he seems like a player that Juventus\u2019 front office as well as the man who is expected to be the manager next season, Luciano Spalletti, are very keen on trying to bring to Turin this summer. And, maybe more importantly, the kind of center back in which Juventus need<\/a> to find the right kind of pairing in a back four alongside fellow South American Gleison Bremer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Senesi has been at Bournemouth since 2022, with his four-year contract set to expire at the end of June. This season ,he has made 28 appearances in the Premier League, recording four assists, which is tied for the team lead on a Bournemouth squad that currently sits ninth in the league table.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
