While one of Juventus\u2019 two signings during the winter transfer window is close to returning from injury over the next couple of weeks (or immediately after the March international break), the impact that the other signee has made \u2014 especially lately \u2014 has been quite a nice little development for Luciano Spalletti.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
And it\u2019s one that is increasingly convincing Juve\u2019s front office to make it more than just a short-term loan deal.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport<\/a> and on the YouTube page of Fabrizio Romano<\/a> via reporter Matteo Moretto, Juventus are already thinking of and looking increasingly likely to pick up the very club-friendly buy option to make Jeremie Boga\u2019s loan move from Nice a permanent one this summer. Boga arrived from Nice in the final hours of the winter transfer window as a bench option to potentially give Kenan Yildiz a little time off. He\u2019s also proven to be somebody who has played on the field at the same time as Yildiz, with goals in back-to-back games being a sign that he is starting to shake off the rust following two months without an appearance following a violent incident involving a number of Nice fans following a loss.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Juventus\u2019 buy option price tag to make Boga\u2019s move permanent? All of \u20ac4.8 million \u2014 which, for a player who has been both productive and provided Juve\u2019s attack with something it doesn\u2019t really have a ton of these days (you know, speed!) it seems like a pretty easy call considering what other players may cost this coming summer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Boga, who was already familiar with Serie A during his time with Sassuolo and then Atalanta prior to leaving Italy for France in 2023, has been a reliable option for Spalletti off the bench despite the fact that he hadn\u2019t played in two months before signing with Juventus. Since then, Boga has scored goals against Roma and then Pisa this past weekend. He also provided an assist on Pierre Kalulu\u2019s game-tying goal in the 96th minute against Lazio shortly after signing with the Bianconeri.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n But this one feels like a no-brainer if Juve are satisfied with how Boga has played since coming to Turin. At a transfer fee of less than \u20ac5 million, he\u2019s quite good value for a player off the bench and a rotational piece next season. At 29 years old, he\u2019s still got plenty of good football left \u2014 and the fact that he has already settled in and is enjoying football again after his experience in Nice back in late-2025.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
