Jeremie Boga joined Juventus from Nice in the latter stages of the January transfer window.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Bianconeri swooped under the radar to sign an experienced international expected to deputise for Kenan Yildiz.<\/p>\n

Boga\u2019s Juventus deal runs until the end of the season, with an option to buy for around \u20ac4.8-5m.<\/p>\n

Patrice Beaumelle, Boga\u2019s former Ivory Coast head coach, has now told Juventus what to expect from their new signing.<\/p>\n

Jeremie Boga has the opportunity to restart his career at Juventus after a sad end to his time at Nice.<\/p>\n

On November 30 last year, Boga and several other Nice players were attacked by so-called supporters as they exited the team bus following their 3-1 loss at Lorient.<\/p>\n

Boga was placed on sick leave and he didn\u2019t play for the club again ahead of his move to Juve.<\/p>\n

Patrice Baumelle spoke to Tuttojuve and he explained that Boga can be \u201cunplayable\u201d on his day.<\/p>\n

However, he made it clear that Boga needs to feel \u201csafe and loved\u201d by his team and fans for him to be at his best.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just hope he\u2019s been able to process everything that happened in Nice,\u201d said Baumelle. \u201cIt must have been traumatic.<\/p>\n

\u201cPhysically, in my opinion, he\u2019ll need at least four or five competitive matches to regain his form and confidence.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s an experienced player, but he needs support and guidance because he\u2019s a player who requires everyone\u2019s trust to perform at his best.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked whether fans could be underestimating Boga, Baumelle replied: \u201cI\u2019ve known him since 2014, when he was playing for Chelsea\u2019s youth team.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t say enough good things about him. He\u2019s a pure talent, a one-on-one player, and on a day like this he can become unplayable. He can take on any opponent.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I repeat: he needs to feel safe and loved.\u201d<\/p>\n

What Jeremie Boga can bring to Juve<\/h2>\n

Jeremie Boga usually plays from the left wing, driving inside onto his right foot, but he can also operate on the right or as a second striker.<\/p>\n

He is a pacey player who boasts impressive close control and skills to take on opponents one-on-one.<\/p>\n

Boga, who will wear No. 13 at Juve, will deputise for Kenan Yildiz and potentially even challenge him for a starting spot.<\/p>\n

He is already familiar with Serie A, having played for Sassuolo and Atalanta between 2018 and 2023.<\/p>\n

Therefore, Boga should not need too much time to acclimatise back to life in Italian soccer.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
