Randal Kolo Muani would love a return to Juventus. At the same time, Juventus would love for Kolo Muani to come back to Turin during the final days of the winter transfer window. The thing is, there\u2019s one very large catch that is technically two parts \u2026<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Both Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain have no interest in giving the player what he wants.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

According to reports out of Italy from the likes of Sky Italia\u2019s Gianluca Di Marzio<\/a> and others, Tottenham is unwilling to see Kolo Muani\u2019s loan deal be terminated in the final days of January and thus freeing him up to potentially return to Juventus on loan. On top of that, PSG seem unwilling to cooperate at all with anything that Juve want on the Kolo Muani front \u2014 which, based on how talks between the two clubs went for the 27-year-old Frenchman over the summer, shouldn\u2019t come as much of a surprise at all.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

IlBianconero\u2019s Romeo Agresti said<\/a> that the clubs have continued to hold contacts with one another, however Juventus are currently getting \u201cnegative signs for Kolo Muani.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Considering Juventus\u2019 previous attempts to sign a striker \u2014 first it was Crystal Palace\u2019s Jean-Philippe Mateta, then it pivoted to Youssef En-Nesyri of Fenerbahce \u2014 have already proven to be unfruitful for a front office that is trying to give Luciano Spalletti another option up front for the second half of the season, circling back to Kolo Muani was going to always be just as difficult as the previous two names, if not more. Of course, Juventus and Fenerbahce had a deal all hammered out and agreed to for En-Nesyri only for the player to reject the move after not finding the terms of the loan with option to buy formula to his liking. (Which he had every right to do.)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

But trying to get Kolo Muani back this month, on short notice, might have been the biggest ask of them all. Why\u2019s that? Because at least with Mateta we knew it was always going to be a financial issue more than anything else. But with Kolo Muani, you had to get Tottenham on board with letting go of a player who, despite not scoring any goals in the Premier League so far this season, is still needed because so many other players on the Spurs roster are currently out injured. Plus, as already mentioned, you then had to try and make things happen with PSG, which was probably even the tougher bridge to try and cross since said bridge was probably mostly torched over the summer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Would Kolo Muani have been a great addition? Well, yes, without a doubt. But the reality is that is was always going to be a difficult move to try and pull off this month even before you factor in the fact that the club that still owns him want absolutely nothing to do with Juventus \u2014 at all.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
