Bologna are said to be interested in Mario, while Juventus believe Holm fits the profile they want for the role.<\/p>\n

Juventus have been looking for more reliability on the right, especially with the season entering a demanding stretch in Serie A and Europe.<\/p>\n

Holm has impressed in Italy thanks to his high energy, overlapping runs, and the stamina needed to maraud up and down the line.<\/p>\n

There have been comparisons to former Juventus star Stephan Lichtsteiner, an instrumental player for the Bianconeri in the 2010s.<\/p>\n

Italian journalist Alvise Cagnazzo sung Holm\u2019s praises in the Daily Mail back in 2022.<\/p>\n

\u201cEmil Holm is a Swedish footballer who could become one of the most precious players in Serie A,\u201d he began.<\/p>\n

Gagnazzo described Holm as a \u201cright-back box-to-box player who can conquer a place at one of Italy\u2019s top clubs.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis physical strength and his ability to grind out between 10 and 12km in each match recalls the characteristics of Stephan Lichtsteiner.\u201d<\/p>\n

There has also been speculation between Holm and Napoli in recent days.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Juve have also been linked with Brooke Norton-Cuffy, though Inter are now pursuing him.<\/p>\n

Why Juventus are happy to offload Joao Mario<\/h2>\n

Joao Mario has been struggling for playing time at Juventus and has failed to make much of an impact.<\/p>\n

The Portuguese has 373 minutes of football in Turin in 2025-26. And only 46 of these have come under Luciano Spalletti.<\/p>\n

Mario also has no goals and just one assist to his name from 13 outings in all competitions.<\/p>\n

With that in mind, a move to Bologna would see Mario get more playing time. He would get the chance to rekindle his career in Serie A.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
