Welcome to a brand new work week. And congratulations for getting through whatever the heck the Italian national team decided to do after going up 1-0 against Norway because that was \u2026 yeah, that was something all right.<\/p>\n

Sure, Italy was never going to get a win by nine goals that they needed to automatically qualify for the 2026 World Cup. However \u2026 let\u2019s just not go there.Why? Because after looking good and going ahead, the way Italy just fell apart after that was just a clear sign of where the level of this national team currently is.<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s not good.<\/p>\n

So, we\u2019ll see what happens in a few months when the play-off round takes place. Hopefully it\u2019s not the same kind of mess that we\u2019ve seen the last two times we\u2019ve had that same exact thought. Or else, tic-tac-toe and it\u2019s three World Cups missed in a row.<\/p>\n
