According to the latest Serge Gnabry transfer news, Juventus won\u2019t be making a move for the Bayern Munich star.\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Gnabry has starred for Bayern since making his breakthrough in 2018 and recently played his 300th game for the club. The forward has scored 97 goals whilst providing 65 assists for the Bundesliga giants.<\/span><\/p>\n

The German international has won 15 major honors in Bavaria which include six domestic titles as well as the Champions League in 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n

Could Juventus Afford Serge Gnabry?<\/h2>\n

In theory, Juventus <\/span>could<\/span><\/i> afford Serge Gnabry but it would come with many financial risks and implications. That is an issue the <\/span>Bianconeri<\/span><\/i> are experiencing with<\/span> Dusan Vlahovic\u2019s contract situation<\/span> in Turin.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Serbian has hinted at a new deal but it all boils down to whether the <\/span>Old Lady<\/span><\/i> could afford him. The same applies to Gnabry who is on a vast salary at Bayern Munich.<\/span><\/p>\n

Even though his contract expires in June and he\u2019ll be turning 31 a month later, Luciano Spalletti and the club board have to be extremely careful when it comes to money.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recent revenue reports suggest the Serie A giants are more than capable of accommodating Gnabry. However, they are operating at huge losses which is where the majority of the risk comes in.<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, FFP constraints would likely apply if signing Gnabry were to come to fruition. After all, he isn\u2019t getting any younger and there would be minimal commercial return and the re-sale value is essentially nothing.<\/span><\/p>\n

All in all, Juve is trying to reduce their wage bill and unless they could convince Gnabry to take a huge reduction, it represents a significant gamble so the club appear happy to let his potential move slide.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to <\/span>Capology<\/span><\/i>, Serge Gnabry\u2019s salary currently stands at \u20ac23.5million a year with bonuses. That would equate to roughly 20% of Juventus\u2019 entire yearly wage bill.<\/span><\/p>\n

That in itself reinforces the fact that paying Gnabry a similar figure would do a lot more harm than good. Even if he were to deliver on the pitch for the <\/span>Bianconeri<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s likely that the German international would lower his demands somewhat in order to secure a move to one of Europe\u2019s elite. That\u2019s assuming he definitely leaves Bayern Munich in the summer.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, that still wouldn\u2019t benefit Juve. For now, Luciano Spalletti can start casting his eye over different targets who don\u2019t represent such a financial risk.<\/span><\/p>\n
