The latter hasn’t yet signed a new San Siro deal.

His current contract expires in June and an exit looks imminent. From the Rossoneri’s perspective, Suzuki has already demonstrated his Serie A credentials and would make a solid addition.

Although Max Allegri’s side aren’t in European competition this season, they are likely to be in 2026-27. That will be another draw for Suzuki to test himself against the continents elite.

Chelsea

Owing to the struggles and inconsistent form of current goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, Parma shot-stopper Zion Suzuki is an attractive alternative for the Spaniard.

Suzuki was being pursued by Manchester United at the back end of last season. That in itself highlights how highly regarded Suzuki is by the English Premier League’s biggest clubs.

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has a settled squad in west London but a new and improved goalkeeper could help the Blues challenge for the title as well as the Champions League.

🇯🇵🔝 Zion Suzuki (23) with a great performance vs Genoa, including a 90+7′ penalty save to secure a point for Parma who had a red card! 🧤 pic.twitter.com/5aoVyq8GJc

— EuroFoot (@eurofootcom) October 21, 2025

Inter Milan

Zion Suzuki would also make a fine addition at Inter Milan. Number one goalkeeper Yann Sommer has performed heroics in recent years but he turns 37 in December.

As much faith as head coach Cristian Chivu has in him, the veteran’s pro career is certainly coming to an end. Similar to Milan, the Nerazzurri knows all about Suzuki and what he can offer.

It’s unlikely that Suzuki will quit Parma before the 2026 World Cup. However, if he performs in the USA, Canada and Mexico interest from the rest of Europe’s elite will skyrocket.
