According to the latest Jamie Vardy transfer news, the Leicester City legend is in talks about a surprise move to Cremonese.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reports from Sky Italia<\/em> suggested that Jamie Vardy has been in talks with newly-promoted Cremonese. The general feeling is that negotiations have gone well so far.<\/p>\n

In fact, the veteran forward is warming to the idea of moving to the Stadio Giovanni Zini. In July, Como was interested in signing Vardy but that has since fizzled out.<\/p>\n

That has essentially left the path clear for Davide Nicola’s side to swoop in and potentially pull of one of the most surprisng moves in Serie A this summer.<\/p>\n

However, a reunion with former boss Brendan Rodgers is now extremely unlikely owing to Cremonese. The Serie A side appears to be the more attractive destination for the former Leicester star.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Napoli were mooted about making a move for Vardy to fill the void left by Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian is expected to be out until late November through injury.<\/p>\n
