Federico Chiesa looks set to leave Liverpool, so let’s break down who the Italian winger’s next club will be, including Juventus, Inter, and Napoli.<\/p>\n

Why Does Chiesa Want to Leave Liverpool?<\/h2>\n

After a whirlwind move to Liverpool last summer, Federico Chiesa\u2019s Premier League adventure appears to be nearing an end.<\/p>\n

The Italian winger has struggled for consistent fitness and minutes under Arne Slot, and multiple reports confirm he wants a return to Serie A.<\/p>\n

Despite joining the Reds for a relatively cheap transfer fee following a contract standoff with Juventus, Chiesa\u2019s \u00a3150,000 weekly wages now pose a major obstacle for Italian clubs looking to bring him back.<\/p>\n

Even with his talent, his injury record and high wages make him a gamble few are eager to take.<\/p>\n

Federico Chiesa Next Club<\/h2>\n

Napoli<\/h3>\n

Napoli has been linked with multiple wide attackers this summer. After bringing Noa Lang in from PSV, Antonio Conte’s side tried to sign Dan Ndoye but ultimately missed out due to a more significant financial package on the table from Nottingham Forest.<\/p>\n

While Chiesa remains a tempting fallback, the Partenopei are reportedly hesitant due to both tactical and financial concerns.<\/p>\n

Conte may favor a winger with stronger defensive instincts to balance his attack. Chiesa\u2019s work rate has dipped in recent seasons, and unless his physical capacity drastically improves, Napoli might allocate their funds to other areas \u2013 especially in midfield or at full-back.<\/p>\n

Milan<\/h3>\n

Chiesa has long been on Milan\u2019s radar, and the Rossoneri may have the finances available to pull off a deal.<\/p>\n

However, with Samuel Chukwueze, Christian Pulisic, and Alexis Saelemaekers in the squad \u2013 not to mention Rafael Leao \u2013 the room for another winger is limited.<\/p>\n

Roma<\/h3>\n

From all the options available, perhaps it’s Roma that seems the most natural fit. There\u2019s a gap on the wing, and Chiesa would slot straight into Gian Piero Gasperini\u2019s system.<\/p>\n

However, the Giallorossi are aiming younger this summer, and Chiesa\u2019s injury track record could deter them from making a move.<\/p>\n

He\u2019d need to take a pay cut, but Roma has a solid history of reviving careers, as does Gasperini, and if Chiesa is willing to bet on himself, the Italian capital might be the best place to do it.<\/p>\n

Atalanta<\/h3>\n

Alternatively, there is Gasperini’s former club, Atalanta. With Lookman expected to leave, Atalanta will need another creative force in attack.<\/p>\n

Kamaldeen Sulemana has already joined this summer, but there\u2019s room for one more. Chiesa would be a marquee addition, but his salary likely puts him out of reach.<\/p>\n
