Juventus very much want to have Randal Kolo Muani as a part of their roster for the 2025-26 season. That is something that doesn\u2019t take a whole bunch of reporting at this stage of the game \u2014 it\u2019s obvious, and it\u2019s something we\u2019ve known Juve have wanted to try and make happen for weeks, if not months now.<\/p>\n
Paris Saint-Germain seem perfectly OK with Kolo Muani leaving the European champions\u2019 roster this summer. But they\u2019ve made one thing perfectly clear: it will come under their conditions, not those that are set by another club that wants to try and bring Kolo Muani in this summer.<\/p>\n
And thus, the standoff is basically underway.<\/p>\n
At this rate, it\u2019s probably not a surprise to see that Juventus want to sign Kolo Muani on loan with an option to buy \u2014 the kind of formula that doesn\u2019t lock them completely in to a big financial commitment a year from now but also allows them to see if the talented Frenchman can recreate some of the same kind of success he had on loan last season. PSG, a team that isn\u2019t struggling for money whatsoever, want Juventus to agree to a deal that will see Kolo Muani spend the upcoming season on loan but also stay in Turin beyond that thanks to an obligation to buy. It is that loan-plus-obligation formula that would have Juventus handing over around \u20ac40 million in total to PSG, according to Tuttosport this weekend.<\/p>\n
And to quote the Turin-based publication: \u201cThis figure is beyond the reach of the Bianconeri.\u201d<\/p>\n
Like we said … it\u2019s a standoff.<\/p>\n
Even with Jonathan David\u2019s arrival earlier this month, it\u2019s pretty obvious at this point that Juventus also want to retain Kolo Muani\u2019s services for at least one more season. The thing is, though, there\u2019s been absolutely no reporting that PSG will even be considering a deal be on the kind of terms that doesn\u2019t guarantee them to post some sort of loss on Kolo Muani. The \u20ac40 million figure \u2014 \u20ac10 million for a loan fee and another \u20ac30 million in terms of a price to make it permanent \u2014 gets the Parisians as close as they could potentially get to that.<\/p>\n
But again, that\u2019s their terms. That\u2019s not Juventus\u2019 terms.<\/p>\n
So if Juventus want to have Kolo Muani for a full season, it appears that new general manager Damien Comolli will either have to budge from his current terms or somehow get PSG to adjust theirs. Somebody will have to make the move and adjust what they want if they want to make a deal happen. And let\u2019s not forget, Kolo Muani has very much made it known that staying at Juventus would be his preferred option this summer.<\/p>\n
Kolo Muani, with his future up in the air, is set to report to Paris Saint-Germain training on Wednesday, July 23, and be part of a group that Tuttosport says has been dubbed as \u201cthe undesirables\u201d \u2014 those who are likely to leave this summer because they\u2019re out of Luis Enrique\u2019s plans. Not exactly what you would expect for a player who cost PSG a whopping \u20ac90 million just two years ago, huh?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
