If Juventus\u2019 new front office were hoping to get a deal or two done before the end of the fiscal year, it looks like Timothy Weah has thrown a massive wrench into those plans.<\/p>\n
According to Fabrizio Romano<\/a> in the minutes following Juve\u2019s 5-2 loss to Manchester City at the Club World Cup on Thursday, Weah has rejected the proposed move that him and fellow winger Samuel Mbangula had been reportedly involved in for much of the past week. Weah \u2014 who was notably not even on the bench for the loss to City, instead watching from what was hopefully a nicely air conditioned box at Camping World Stadium in Orlando \u2014 had been rumored as the more expensive piece in the deal with Forest that would see himself and Mbangula head to England in a deal worth a combined \u20ac23 million for the two players. It was widely assumed that the two clubs had basically agreed to a fee \u2014 Weah costing around \u20ac15 million and Mbangula for just \u20ac8 million \u2014 with the only thing left to do was to agree to personal terms with thw two players.<\/p>\n Well, about all that …<\/p>\n A deal that Juve thought was going to happen has now hit a major road block.
