The club doesn\u2019t plot to extend them. The Austrian marksman\u2019s one has a clause to renew it. Coach Simone Inzaghi stated they\u2019d mull it over after being asked about it in a recent presser.<\/p>\n Arnautovic had a slow start but stepped up in 2025 when Inter rested or didn\u2019t have their starters, scoring four goals and providing two assists, while Correa has never been truly convincing.<\/p>\n The 36-year-old has hit the net 7 times across all competitions, while the Argentinian speedster has scored once and set up 4 teammates in 20 displays. The ex-Bologna star returned to the club as a free agent two years ago after a short but intense spell in 2009\/2010.<\/p>\n They have to trim the fat if they follow through on their intention to add a third stellar striker. While the former has outplayed Mehdi Taremi for most of the season, he\u2019s likely to pay the price for the fact that he\u2019s a lot easier to offload. The Iranian talisman has two more years on his contract, and it\u2019s not so sure they\u2019d find a taker. Unless there\u2019s a short-term extension, they won\u2019t have them for the later stages of the Club World Cup. Perhaps they\u2019ll agree to a rescission in early June.
