Inter and Milan were among the first top clubs to spot the mercurial talent of River Plate whizz-kid Franco Mastantuono. However, the window of opportunity to bring the 17-year-old prodigy to Serie A may have passed.<\/p>\n

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain have taken the lead in the race to sign the Argentine teen sensation. Widely considered one of the world\u2019s brightest prospects, Mastantuono is ready to take the next step in what promises to be an illustrious career.<\/p>\n

Inter and Milan considered opening talks with River Plate last year. Nerazzurri vice-president Javier Zanetti holds his compatriot in high regard and would probably love to see him at the San Siro.
