Como head coach Cesc Fabregas has played down the rumors linking him with league rivals Milan and Roma.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Spaniard’s future at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia has been the topic of hot debate in recent weeks. Having all but assured Biancobl\u00f9’s <\/i>Serie A status for next season, Fabregas is very much in demand.<\/p>\n

In the pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday’s clash with Lecce, Fabregas went on to say it’s not 100% that he’ll be in charge of the club in 2025\/26 (via TuttoSport<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The 37-year-old enjoyed a glittering playing career which saw him win titles in England and Spain. His biggest success came on the international stage where he won the 2010 FIFA World Cup.<\/p>\n

Since hanging up his boots, Fabregas has made a strong start to club management and will be keen to emulate the success he enjoyed at Arsenal, Chelsea and Barcelona.<\/p>\n

It’ll likely only be a matter of time before Italy’s and Europe’s biggest clubs calling for Fabregas’ services. For now, he insists he is solely focusing on Como.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve not been contacted by any side, as I\u2019m completely focused on us. I can assure you that I didn\u2019t receive any direct phone cal<\/em>l.<\/p>\n

“What we started this year forges ahead. My honesty and loyalty are toward president Mirwan Suwarso and the club<\/em>,\u201d Fabregas explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t say that I\u2019ll stay 100 percent because the season isn\u2019t over. I must sit down with the front office to assess whether our growth aligns with expectations<\/em>.<\/p>\n

“We all must know where we want to go. Avoiding relegation was our primary objective this season<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything can change if the team\u2019s need is to finish in the top 10 or play in Europe. We\u2019ll finish the campaign and then take stock serenely<\/em>.<\/p>\n

“I want to be privy of everything. I\u2019m obviously great here, and I\u2019d be happy to continue. Then, if you do well, the offers arrive, but I\u2019m very involved in this project. It\u2019s not entirely up to me<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n
