Just as Juventus seemed ready to welcome in Zion Suzuki on loan from PSG, the contacts between the parties stopped. The Bianconeri are pivoting away from him, Corriere dello Sport informs.

Instead, the Old Lady wishes to install their new goalie pronto. He could initially stay in the French capital to be assessed by Luis Enrique, even though they have two other starting-caliber shot-stoppers.
With Suzuki losing steam, Juventus will revisit Gugliemo Vicario and Anatoly Trubin. They only want the former on loan, possibly with an option to buy, while the Ukrainian’s price tag is considerable, at least €25M.
The Bianconeri haven’t planned a big disbursement. They believe they have strong chances of signing Alisson on a Bosman transfer next year. Or that some juicy options, Atalanta’s Marco Carnesecchi or Roma’s Mile Svilar, will be easier to snag.

Developing somebody for another side’s benefit wasn’t a great idea to begin with, considering that he’s not a massive upgrade over their present men and that he would have missed time due to the Asian Cup. If he’ll be on the move again, a return to Parma is the most logical way to go.
A rental isn’t palatable either, even with a quality solution waiting in the wings, but it’d work a little better with a veteran. If they don’t want to spend now, it could make sense to try a young-ish reclamation project, like Lucas Chevalier or somebody in the same vein, and evaluate him for a year before deciding whether he’s the guy.
