Serie A side Lazio want to bolster their midfield this summer and the idea of signing Inter’s Davide Frattesi is quickly gaining traction.
The Italy international has failed to attract suitors in the last few weeks. Nottingham Forest did hold discussions for him – like they did in January, have never made a formal offer.
Lazio had made an offer and they had missed out too.
Now, the Biancocelesti could have a real chance at a move. Alfredo Pedulla reports that Lazio are trying to sign Frattesi again and the chances of a deal are also rising.
The relationship between Lazio and Inter is very good and this will be of help. Giuseppe Riso, who is close to Lazio, represents Frattesi and this can come in very handy for Rino Gattuso’s side. The Riso connection is also the reason why Lazio could yet sign Andrea Pinamonti, who appears set to leave Sassuolo.
Good opportunity for player
This could be one way for Frattesi to rebuild his career. He would play regularly at Lazio and this may not be true, if he joins a club like Juventus or Roma. That should be important for him, as he has a reputation to build after the struggles of last season.
