Serie A side Inter have given up on Tottenham’s Djed Spence but another Spurs player in Cristian Romero remains a possible target, despite the London club’s hefty price tag.
Alfredo Pedulla has reported about contact between Romero’s entourage and Inter.
Images of the meeting have also emerged and it is believed talks between the two parties are taking place in a full blown manner.
Inter see Romero as a key target and that is the reason behind their meeting with agent Vincent Casella.
Player likely to be expensive
It feels like Inter are simply exploring the situation as much as they can. A deal however is likely to be very expensive and Inter will struggle to meet TOttenham’s price tag, unless Alessandro Bastoni leaves. The Italian has attracted interest from the Middle East but that deal also looks quite complex, which makes other clubs a better option for Romero.
