Serie A side Juventus have appeared keen on a move for Liverpool’s Alisson. The Bianconeri are expected to move on from Michele Di Gregorio and Mattia Perin in the summer, which is making them push for a new stopper.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported updates about their pursuit of the Reds’ veteran.

Juve are willing to offer Alisson a medium-to-long term contract, with the Brazil international a clear favourite for manager Luciano Spalletti. The player is open to a switch and this is probably driving a deal forward.

His entourage will fly to Italy soon to hold discussions with Juve. This will happen around the Old Lady’s Serie A game against Milan later this week. Attempts will be made to advance discussions further, with the Bianconeri keen on speaking to Liverpool once they sort out personal terms with Alisson.

The 33-year-old first gained spotlight under Spalletti during their time together at Roma. Juve are now trying their best to satisfy the demands of the manager, who signed an extension very recently himself.
