Hello darkness, my old friend.

It is me, the Juventus supporter who has seen another season go down the drain within a few short weeks.

What started as a February that was being looked at as a defining stretch of games has turned into that — and not in a good way. At all. Following the Coppa Italia elimination, the Derby d’Italia mess that ended in a loss at the San Siro, the past week saw Juve completely fall apart against Galatasaray in the first leg of their Champions League play-off round tie and then following it up with a no-show kind of performance against Como, a big hit in the race for the top four in Serie A.

Gone is the optimism that was surrounding this squad coming into the month.

Gone, barring a miracle, is the chance to advance to the next round of the Champions League.

Gone is the vast majority of the good vibes that Luciano Spalletti and the squad have built up over his first three months as manager.

Now, as the month of March approaches, things aren’t looking good — which is quite the flip from a few short weeks ago.
