The online poker company will make updates to their platform to a more ‘futuristic’ software for players
Online poker operator CoinPoker has officially set March 2, 2026, as the launch date for its “Level Up” initiative, a comprehensive technical and brand overhaul.
The move marks a total migration of the platform’s user base to a new software architecture, signalling a major strategic shift for the provider.
The transition, which has been in development for several months, involves replacing the existing gaming client across all supported operating systems, including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.

The core of the March 2 update is the introduction of a “futuristic” software environment designed to improve stability and user interface across mobile and desktop devices.
According to the platform, the new infrastructure is built to support a broader range of poker variants, expanding beyond the site’s current offerings of Texas Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha (PLO), and 5-Card PLO.
To ensure a smooth transition, CoinPoker leveraged its 8,000-member Discord community for private beta testing.
These closed-door sessions allowed selected players to stress-test the new software in private games before the scheduled public rollout.
CoinPoker Strategic Market Positioning
The “Level Up” event is not limited to technical changes; it is also a play for increased market liquidity. CoinPoker has scheduled a “Month of Rewards” throughout March to coincide with the software launch.
These incentives are intended to drive traffic toward the platform’s major tournament series, including the Cash Game World Championship (CGWC) and the Coin Series of Online Poker (CSOP).
Industry analysts view this as a move by the operator to transition from a niche, decentralized site into a more direct competitor within the global online poker market.
By modernizing its software stack, the platform aims to appeal to a wider demographic of professional and recreational players.

In tandem with the technical migration, CoinPoker is expanding its public-facing professional team.
The platform has confirmed that a “world-famous” poker personality will be unveiled as a new brand ambassador on March 2.
This new addition will join an existing roster that saw rapid expansion throughout 2025 and early 2026, currently featuring high-stakes figures such as Mario Mosböck, YoH Viral, Mariano, Brantzen Wong, Patrick Leonard, and Bencb.
