Roma have completed a late move for winger Bryan Zaragoza, signing the Spain international from Bayern Munich.
The 24-year-old was on loan at Celta de Vigo, but that deal was ended early to let him join Roma.
The new deal sees Roma get a new attacking option for the run-in following Leon Bailey’s Aston Villa return.
Meanwhile, Bayern know where they stand on a player who needed minutes and momentum.
In addition, they also have a great opportunity to sell him to Roma later on this year.

Bryan Zaragoza to Roma: €3m loan fee with €13.5m option to buy
Bryan Zaragoza has joined Roma on an initial loan for €3m, according to Calciomercato.
The Spaniard will reportedly also receive a bonus of €1m for every five goals scored.
Roma have the option to sign Zaragoza permanently for €13.5 million. However, there are two triggers for the option to become an obligation.
The deal will reportedly become mandatory upon 50% appearances of at least 45 minutes, and qualification for next season’s Champions League or Europa League.
A separate report claims the €3m has gone to Celta in order for them to agree to end the loan early.

Bryan Zaragoza: What Roma fans can expect
Bryan Zaragoza is a Spanish winger born in Malaga on September 9, 2001.
He came through Granada CF’s youth system, then made his first senior breakthrough on loan at El Ejido in 2020-21.
In summer 2024, Bayern signed him in a €13m deal, but he struggled for minutes in Germany and managed only seven appearances.
To find rhythm, Zaragoza returned to Spain on loan, first with Osasuna and then Celta de Vigo.
At Celta this season, he played 19 La Liga matches, scoring once. He also impressed in the Europa League with one goal and three assists in seven games.
That European goal came against Bologna in December, so he has already shown he knows how to score against Italian teams.
In terms of style, Zaragoza is quick, light on his feet, and strong in one-v-one dribbles, helped by his 5ft 4in frame.
Tactically, he is usually an inverted wide attacker: right-footed, but happiest starting from the left to cut inside, combine, and create chances.

Zaragoza can also operate as a left-sided attacking midfielder, making him a versatile option for Gian Piero Gasperini.
His characteristics are ‘reminiscent of Juventus’ Francisco Conceiçao’, according to Calciomercato.
The outlet also claims Gasperini could use Zaragoza as he did with Papu Gomez during his time at Atalanta.
He is expected to compete for a Roma starting spot with Lorenzo Pellegrini, who has so far played in that area of the pitch without a real alternative on that side.
In other news, Gasperini has hit out at how the January transfer window has panned out for Roma.
