According to the latest Fiorentina transfer news, Kyle Walker-Peters and Soungoutou Magassa will not be joining La Viola this winter.
On January 27, sports journalist Matteo Moretto claimed the West Ham duo were in talks with the Serie A strugglers. However, a source close to the Hammers suggests this isn’t the case.
Both players only joined the Premier League outfit in the summer. Despite neither of them impressing, the east Londoners will not be parting company with Walker-Peters or Magassa, says Sean Whetstone via West Ham Football.
There is NO truth that Soungoutou Magassa and Kyle Walker-Peters could be the next West Ham players to leave the club.
Club insiders say there are NO talks and the players will not depart.

Fiorentina Transfer News
After it was reported Fiorentina are pursuing Axel Disasi, supporters may not be too concerned about a deal for Kyle Walker-Peters not materializing.
Even more so as a whole host of defenders have been linked with La Viola this month. Walker-Peters certainly offers a wealth of top-flight experience but his below par showings this season leave a lot to be desired.
Especially as the Florence-based side are in their own relegation battle – similar to West Ham. Head coach Paolo Vanoli has enough full-back options and it’s center-backs he’s prioritizing.
Vanoli is keeping tabs on those he can be more assured about helping the 2024 Conference League runners-up climb the Serie A table.
Brighton defender Diogo Coppola appears to have chosen a loan switch to Paris FC over a return to Italy. The Azzurri international represented Hellas Verona over the last four seasons.
Nonetheless, the likes of Sikou Niakate, Jaka Bijol and Emerson Royal have been earmarked. A deal for Radu Dragusin is also a possibility after being frozen out at Tottenham.
Will Fiorentina Sign Anymore Midfielders And Wingers In January?
Despite Fiorentina signing Giovanni Fabbian, Manor Solomon, Jack Harrison and Marco Brescianini this winter, more midfielders and wingers are expected at the Artemio Franchi Stadium.
Soungoutou Magassa would have been an ideal back-up signing to Fabbian and Brescianini. Nonetheless, La Viola are in the race for Orel Mangala and Lazar Samardzic.
Mangala’s fitness is a concern owing to the long-term injury he suffered last year but does still remain an option. A loan deal with an option to buy is perhaps Paolo Vanoli’s best course of action.
Samardzic has been on La Viola’s shortlist for the last 3-4 months with his Atalanta future is in doubt. Although the Serbian international has featured 22 times for La Dea this term, Vanoli is striving to strike a deal.
Further up the pitch, a fresh approach for Lazio forward Tijjani Noslin is gaining traction. The Dutchman has plenty of suitors in the form of Torino, Monaco and Villarreal so Vanoli will need to act sooner rather than later.
