According to the latest Serge Gnabry transfer news, Juventus won’t be making a move for the Bayern Munich star.
Gnabry has starred for Bayern since making his breakthrough in 2018 and recently played his 300th game for the club. The forward has scored 97 goals whilst providing 65 assists for the Bundesliga giants.
The German international has won 15 major honors in Bavaria which include six domestic titles as well as the Champions League in 2020.

Could Juventus Afford Serge Gnabry?
In theory, Juventus could afford Serge Gnabry but it would come with many financial risks and implications. That is an issue the Bianconeri are experiencing with Dusan Vlahovic’s contract situation in Turin.
The Serbian has hinted at a new deal but it all boils down to whether the Old Lady could afford him. The same applies to Gnabry who is on a vast salary at Bayern Munich.
Even though his contract expires in June and he’ll be turning 31 a month later, Luciano Spalletti and the club board have to be extremely careful when it comes to money.
Recent revenue reports suggest the Serie A giants are more than capable of accommodating Gnabry. However, they are operating at huge losses which is where the majority of the risk comes in.
Furthermore, FFP constraints would likely apply if signing Gnabry were to come to fruition. After all, he isn’t getting any younger and there would be minimal commercial return and the re-sale value is essentially nothing.
All in all, Juve is trying to reduce their wage bill and unless they could convince Gnabry to take a huge reduction, it represents a significant gamble so the club appear happy to let his potential move slide.
What Is Serge Gnabry’s Salary?
According to Capology, Serge Gnabry’s salary currently stands at €23.5million a year with bonuses. That would equate to roughly 20% of Juventus’ entire yearly wage bill.
That in itself reinforces the fact that paying Gnabry a similar figure would do a lot more harm than good. Even if he were to deliver on the pitch for the Bianconeri.
It’s likely that the German international would lower his demands somewhat in order to secure a move to one of Europe’s elite. That’s assuming he definitely leaves Bayern Munich in the summer.
However, that still wouldn’t benefit Juve. For now, Luciano Spalletti can start casting his eye over different targets who don’t represent such a financial risk.
It’s understood that Juventus are interested in Morten Hjulmand. The Sporting Lisbon captain has been on the Bianconeri’s radar for the last few months and a summer bid is likely.
Serge Gnabry Transfer News
With Juventus seemingly out of the running for Serge Gnabry, English Premier League champions Liverpool are set to enter the race for the German star.
But similar to the Old Lady, Arne Slot has reservations about Gnabry’s salary. The Dutchman has six first-team players earning over €200k per week already on his books.
Acquiring Gnabry would offer more attacking outlets for the head coach to utilize. Nonetheless, bringing in a forward/winger over 30 wouldn’t make too much sense.
