Fashion king Carlo Rivetti has hit the headlines once again after showcasing his new Stone Island jacket.

Carlo Rivetti has wowed soccer fans after donning a custom-made Stone Island jacket in Modena’s famous yellow colors.

Rivetti – who is the Canaries chairman and former SI president – showcased the designer garment to excited supporters who have praised the one-off design.

Carlo Rivetti And His Custom Made Stone Island Jacket

Although Italy looked destined for the World Cup playoffs, one of the country’s most famous names in fashion has certainly brightened the mood.

Modena chief Carlo Rivetti is currently witnessing Modena flying high in Serie B. And the Stone Island jacket has been colored in canary yellow to reflect that fact.

In terms of the actual design, it has a special glossy polyurethane lamination that creates a stunning prismatic effect. An emblem of the canary is positioned on the back as a tribute directly to the soccer club.

Who Is Carlo Rivetti?

Italian soccer fans will know Carlo Rivetti as Modena’s chairman – but what else is he renowned for? The 59-year-old holds a degree in Economics at the Luigi Bocconi University of Milan.

He is the current Chairman of Sportswear Company S.p.A. They are the licensee company of the Stone Island brand. Rivetti has been deeply involved in the fashion world from a young age.

His family helped make the Italian textile manufacturing industry boom. The main success came when Carlo’s father – after a trip to the USA – introduced clothing in Italy made on the basis of theoretical measurements.

Business skyrocketed and Carlo has since gone on to earn success in a number of ventures. However, his commitment to Stone Island remains paramount.

The Relationship Between Soccer And Fashion

It’s no secret that Paris is considered as the fashion capital of the world but the Italians know exactly what to produce when it comes to stylish and slick garments.

Global brands such as Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Armani and Prada are just some examples of household Italian clothing brands. And many have found their way into soccer.

Serie A champions Napoli current kit supplier is EA7 Emporio Armani and not only that, a number of players often don such reputable names. They include the likes of Erling Haaland, Joao Felix and current Man City manager Pep Guardiola.

From Stone Island’s perspective, it does still – to an extent – hold an unfortunate reputation of hooliganism. Particularly among English supporters.

Nonetheless, Carlo Rivetti’s stunning jacket – which is designed with the highest craftsmanship – showcases just how charming the brand is.

Stone Island is notorious for having the designer badge on the arm and that is something of which Rivetti knew was imperative for his own jacket.

Soccer and fashion will always go hand-in-hand. Former Man United star David Beckham has worked alongside a number of famous names alongside Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The relationship between the two will naturally continue to blossom. After all, who doesn’t want to look as sleek and stylish as Rivetti?

Soccer And Fashion Collaborations

Some examples of the most popular soccer and fashion collaborations include Lionel Messi and adidas, Cristiano Ronaldo and Nike, and AC Milan’s relationship with Gucci.

It’s plain to see that the fusion between soccer and renowned fashion brands has seriously ramped up in recent years. And there are no signs of that trend slowing, either.

Not only is the financial aspect extremely rewarding, global names continue to get their name seen by audiences that extend into the millions on a weekly basis. It really is a win-win situation for both parties.

With that in mind, Napoli’s deal with EA7 will see the Serie A champions earn vast sums. The exact figure hasn’t been made public but the deal will be over seven digits.

In fact, it makes incredible business sense to see the world’s biggest soccer collaborate alongside huge fashion brands. The jersey’s, training gear and any other merchandise truly are a thing of beauty.
