Italy will be looking to secure their place in FIFA U-20 World Cup Ro16 on October 4th, as the Azzurrini face Argentina and you can find out how to watch the match via TV or live stream below.

Italy vs Argentina Preview (FIFA U-20 World Cup)

The young Italian side suffered a shocking result in their latest group stage encounter, as the Azzurrini were held to a 2-2 stalemate by Cuba despite taking a 2-0 lead after 30 minutes.

Andrea Natali, who has been tipped as a player to watch for Italy U-20, opened the scoring after just 14 minutes before Jamal Iddrissou added a second just 16 minutes later.

However, Iddrissou was involved in the action once again in the remaining moments of the first-half, as the striker received two yellow cards from the 34th minute to the 45th and Italy were left with a man disadvantage.

This dismissal highlighted the inexperience of the Italian side and this was amplified in the second-half, as the Azzurrini gave away two penalties to allow Cuba back into the match at 2-2.

Carmine Nunziata’s side go into their final group stage match with four-points, meaning if Cuba beat Australia and the Azzurrini lose to Argentina it will come down to goal difference for second-place.

Beating Argentina will not be an easy task, as the South American nation have won both of their opening matches, beating Cuba 3-1 and Australia 4-1

Italy vs Argentina Prediction

This is undoubtedly the biggest test for both Italy and Argentina, but the Azzurrini come into the match needing a result and with a point to prove following the draw with Cuba.

Our AI Supercomputer predicted Italy’s chances in the tournament and the young Italian side will need to progress into the Ro16 to keep the prediction alive.

Argentina U-20 have not tasted defeat in their last 10 matches across all competitions and have been one of the best teams in the tournament so far.

With that in mind, we expect these two sides to earn a point each, as Argentina have already secured a place in the Ro16 but have the quality to punish Italy.
