The Serie A side will need to be on the top of their game on October 1st, as they travel to Spain to face a Villarreal side that has won three consecutive La Liga matches.

Marcelino’s side secured narrow victories over Osasuna, Sevilla and Athletic Club to move up to third in the table, just three-points behind Barcelona.

Despite this strong form in the league, Villarreal suffered a 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on the opening week of Champions League action, as the Spanish side failed to register a single shot on target.

The Spanish side will be without Will Kambwala, Juan Foyth, Pau Navarro, Gerard Moreno and Ayoze Perez, meaning Marcelino will be forming a slightly makeshift side against Juve.
