The 2025 summer transfer has officially closed in Italy and for all of Europe’s other major leagues.
This proved to a summer in which Juventus went large swaths of time without much really happening on the transfer front, with the Club World Cup and a new front office led by general manager Damien Comolli getting up to speed on how they want to get Juve running going forward. There certainly weren’t as many additions as we saw in what proved to be Cristiano Giuntoli’s final summer mercato in charge.
But the group in which Juventus did bring in — punctuated by the Deadline Day signings of Edon Zhegrova and Loïs Openda — were few but are set to get their first test of a big-time Serie A matchup once the September international break is over and the Bianconeri face Inter Milan in the Derby d’Italia on Sept. 13.
There could still be a player or two heading out considering the transfer window is still open in Turkey and Arek Milik has been linked with an exit during the Deadline Day madness. But even if Juve don’t make one final sale, this is the roster that Igor Tudor has to work with until January 2026 — and hopefully it’s a first month of the new year where Comolli is scrambling to sign more depth options like his predecessor did a year ago.
