The latest Christian Eriksen transfer news has revealed that Roma are considering offering the Danish international a short-term deal.
Eriksen is a free agent having left Manchester United upon the expiry of his contract in June. The 33-year-old spent three seasons at Old Trafford and was part of the roster who won the 2023 EFL Cup and 2024 FA Cup.
Although a fans favorite in the north of England, Eriksen decided to move on to seek a new venture. Throughout his career, the midfield ace has also represented Ajax, Tottenham, Inter and Brentford.

Roma head coach Gian Piero Gasperini previously pleaded with the club’s board to bring in more fresh faces ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
The Giallorossi have drafted in nine players but Gasperini is keen to add Christian Eriksen to his squad as well. The Danish international has already played in Serie A and won the Scudetto with Inter in 2020-21.
Not only does he know the league very well, Eriksen has a wealth of experience and would help add another attacking dimension to Roma’s system.
Although Gasperini has named his Europa League squad, Eriksen would be a useful option to utilize in top-flight matches and can be added to the European roster in the new year.

Over the summer transfer window, a number of clubs have been linked with Christian Eriksen. A surprise move to Ryan Reynolds’ Wrexham looked likely at one point but that failed to materialize.
Premier League newbies Burnley and more recently Leeds have been interested. The latter have since claimed they have exhausted their finances and won’t explore any free signings unless absolutely necessary.
Another potential transfer that has been touted is with Swedish outfit Malmo. Eriksen is reportedly training with the club but it’s unclear at this stage whether they will offer the 33-year-old a contract.
At the start of the transfer window, Scottish Premier League side Rangers threw their name into the mix. However, Russell Martin’s side opted to sign other targets instead.
