Atalanta will take heavy disciplinary action against Ademola Lookman, as the Nigerian continues to skip training in a bid to force a move this summer.
Is Ademola Lookman Leaving Atalanta?
Atalanta may be standing firm on their estimation for Ademola Lookman, but the 27-year-old is doing everything in his power to force a move.
In a sensational social media post, Lookman accused Atalanta of ‘broken promises’ and ‘blocking the opportunity’ for him to leave, even after an alleged pre-agreement that they would allow him to leave this summer.
In doing so, Lookman also handed in a formal transfer request.
Given he has been one of Serie A’s most potent players in terms of goal contributions for the past two seasons, he has commanded plenty of attention.
Not least from Inter Milan, who have already seen two official bids rejected by Atalanta. La Dea not prepared to accept a bid for anything less than their firm asking price of $50 million.
Elsewhere, Lookman transfer rumors continue to circle in relation to Arsenal’s interest, as their search for a new left-sided winger continues.

Lookman Faces Disciplinary Action From Atalanta
Atalanta are said to be irate at Lookman’s behavior.
The Nigeria international has been absent from training since Monday, and has since been holidaying in Spain, as the transfer revolt rumbles on.
Atalanta are now preparing to take disciplinary action, which is expected to include docking at least a week’s wages, or possibly more, depending on how long Lookman decides to go AWOL.
Skipping training typically comes with a separate fine, so Lookman could be facing a fiscal punishment of $100,000 or more.
Inter are widely expected to return with an improved bid closer to Atalanta’s $50 million valuation, although it is unclear whether they are prepared to match it.
With Lookman forcing Atalanta’s hand somewhat with a transfer request, Inter enter negotiations once more, with the knowledge that the club will have to sell.
Interest from other parties remains strong if Inter decide against spending more than they had earmarked, but offshore sportsbooks are seemingly confident that Lookman will be playing soccer in Milan next season.
