It’s been an interesting couple of weeks for Juventus winger Timothy Weah.
And it’s only a few short hours that he will technically be a Juve player for much longer.
Weah, the 25-year-old USMNT standout, is about to officially complete his move to Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille after an interesting month-long negotiations that has seen him reject a move to the Premier League in favor of a return to France. It’s the same French league in which he came to Juventus from two years ago, but this time around Juventus will be locking in a deal for the American speedster that doesn’t come without some sort of interesting moments.
But even after some not-so-kind words from Weah’s agent, Juventus and Marseille got the deal done — and one that hopefully sees the August business done in a little bit swifter fashion than what we saw in June and July.
