Much like Francisco Conceição, Randal Kolo Muani’s future at Juventus beyond the Club World Cup is very much up in the air right now. Or so it seems from the outside for a player who spent the second half of the 2024-25 season on loan at Juventus after falling down the pecking order at Paris Saint-Germain, who went on to catch absolute fire come the new year and go on to win the Champions League.

But even with PSG very much having no apparent need for Kolo Muani, they still want to try and cash in on him if it’s possible. That probably doesn’t fit into Juve’s transfer budget for 2025 — which is why the new-look front office istrying to see if they can extend Kolo Muani’s stay in Turin at least one season longer.

And it sounds like the 26-year-old Frenchman would very much support that.

In fact, he has already come out and said — multiple times — just how much staying at Juventus beyond this summer is something that he very much wants to see happen.

The latest came in Tuesday’s edition of Tuttosport. where Kolo Muani stated — and quite frankly, I might add — that his choice is to stay at Juventus as his current club and the one in which he is on loan from try to work something out to see if that can happen. Kolo Muani’s words in terms of staying at Juventus — and recent rumors linking him with a possible move to Chelsea — are as follows:

“I don’t know anything about Chelsea, I’m trying to focus on the Club World Cup. We’ll see what happens on the market at the end of the competition, … If it were only up to me, I’d stay here as I’m really happy at Juventus.”

Just what it would take to keep Kolo Muani with Juventus for (at least) next season) still remains to be seen. The most logic option is likely a loan with an option to buy that would allow PSG to at least not make a major loss come the summer of 2026. But it’s also unclear if PSG will get anywhere close to the kind of fee they want — which has been said to be around €50 million — if they were to try and sell him outright this summer.

That means that Juventus could very well end up being the best option — even if it’s not a straight sale this summer.

You better believe that is something Kolo Muani wants to see happen.

A big reason why Kolo Muani is quite happy at Juventus? The presence of Kenan Yildiz, who has been one of the best players at the Club World Cup through the first two Juventus matchdays. The 20-year-old Turkish forward has scored four three goals and has shown an ever-growing rapport with Kolo Muani that has the Frenchman raving about what Juve’s No. 10 has done during his first six months in Turin.

“Mamma Mia! (Yildiz) is too good, too good. Playing with him is pure magic; you can see it in training. He’s on another level and a fantastic lad. It’s a pleasure to share the pitch with him.

“I think he has the quality to play in the most prestigious clubs in the world. I hope he’ll win trophies at this club; he has everything to achieve it.”

Though streaky, Kolo Muani scored eight goals in 16 appearances (13 starts) in all competitions during the second half of the 2024-25 season. Both of his goals at the Club World Cup came in Juve’s 5-0 win over Al Ain in their tournament opener last week.
